TERMFIT FREE USE LICENCE

This licence covers Termfit: the web app at termfit.ca, the single-file copy of it, and every
file that comes with them ("Termfit").  Termfit is owned by Mike Kapin ("the owner").


1. WHAT YOU MAY DO

You may, free of charge:

  a) use Termfit for any purpose, including at a school, college, university or business;
  b) install it, run it offline, and copy it onto as many of your own devices as you like;
  c) give exact, unchanged copies of Termfit to other people, free of charge, as long as the
     "Powered by Termfit" credit line and this licence stay with it.


2. WHAT YOU MAY NOT DO

Unless the owner agrees in writing, you may not:

  a) sell, rent, lease or charge anyone for Termfit or any copy of it;
  b) change, adapt, translate or build other software from Termfit, except as the law
     allows no matter what a licence says;
  c) remove or change the credit line, the copyright notice or this licence;
  d) rebrand Termfit or present it as your own;
  e) offer Termfit to others as a hosted or online service, or bundle it into another product.


3. YOUR FILES ARE YOURS

The timetables, workspace files and printouts you make with Termfit belong to you.  The owner
claims no rights to them.  Termfit runs in your browser and does not send your files anywhere.


4. OWNERSHIP

Termfit is licensed, not sold.  The owner keeps all rights in Termfit that this licence does not
give you, including every commercial right.  Reselling, hosting, bundling, custom versions or
paid support need a separate written agreement with the owner.  To ask, use the contact link at

5. NO WARRANTY

Termfit is provided "as is", with no warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any
warranty that it is fit for a particular purpose or free of errors.  A timetable made with
Termfit is your responsibility: check it before you publish it.


6. LIMIT OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent the law allows, the owner is not liable for any loss or damage of any
kind that comes from using Termfit or from being unable to use it, including lost data, lost
time, or a timetable error.


7. ENDING

If you break this licence, your right to use Termfit ends automatically.  You must then stop
using it and delete your copies of Termfit.  Your own files stay yours.


8. OTHER PARTS

The Archivo and Inter fonts inside Termfit are used under the SIL Open Font License 1.1.  Their
own licence texts ship with them (OFL-Archivo.txt and OFL-Inter.txt), and those terms apply to
the fonts.


9. NEW VERSIONS

A later version of Termfit may come with a later version of this licence.  Each copy of Termfit
is covered by the licence that came with it.


10. LAW

This licence is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada
that apply there.
